The Russian Cultural Centre Library, New Delhi

Origin

The Russian Centre of Science and Culture has a public library in new delhi that boasts of a variety of literature on and about Russian. It is a store house of literature in Russian language.

Building

Location

The library is located in the hub of the Indian capital on the Ferozeshah Road.

Staff

Collection

The library has a collectin of about 26000+ documetns. The collection also includes video-library, with a considerable collection of VHS and DVDs.

The library also subscribes to newspapers and magazines in Russian and English. The Russian title available are The Geo, The Asia and Africa Segodnya, The Argumenty and Facty, The Ballet, The Itogi, The Karavan Istoriy, The Krestyanka, The Nauka i Zhizn, The Profile, The Russkaya Slovesnost, The Russkiy Yazayk v Shokole, Russkiy Yazyk v Shkole i doma and Russkiy yazyk Za Rubezhom etc.

The English titles are The Miscow News and The Science in Russia

Membership

The library offers membership at the following rate,

Information Technology

The library is well equipped with state of the art modern technology. The library also has a collection of audio/visual material.

Working Hours

The library opens from Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 18:00 pm.

Apart from Saturdays and Sundays the library remains closed on the last friday of each month.
