The American Library, Mumbai is one of the divisions of the American Center, Mumbai.
Location
The library is located inside the American Center on the New Marine Lines, Kolkata.
Collection
The library has a rich collection of 13,000 volumes of books. It also maintains a substantial collection of digital material and also subscribes to many online resources. The collection can be accessed online through OPAC at http://www.amlibindia.state.gov.

Membership
The library offers membership to individuals and institutions from Wester India i.e. states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. The membership details can be found at http://www.mumbai.usconsulate.gov/enrollment1.html

Information Technology
The library like all other libraries in the system is fully automated. The library collection can be accessed from the Web OPAC at http://amlindia.state.gov.
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
The library remains closed on sundays and Indian and American holidays.
