Rules

All the district libraries, state library and central state library share the same rules and regulations.

Circulation

All the documents in the libraries are not for issue to the general public. Some collections are restricted to be consulted with the library premises only. The rest are issued as under,

1. Each member is issued two books for a period of 14 days at a time.
2. If requested a book can be reissued to a member if specifically requested and the book is not required by any other member in the library.
3. The borrower should produce his/her membership card at the time of borrowing/renewing a book.
4. The borrower will be responsible for the safe custody of the book/any accompaning material. In case of loss/damage he/she will have to pay/replce the same.
5. For overdue books a fine at the rate of 50 paisa/day/book will be charged.
